Commercial New Build in Killarney
Vodafone Killarney is one of only a handful of stand alone buildings in Killarney town, and was architecturally designed to make a lasting impression on the town’s landscape.
Having worked with the O’Connor family in the past renovating their other Vodafone shops throughout Kerry, Cork and Limerick, we were brought on board at an early stage of this project for the construction of this unique building.
We first had to demolish the old store on the grounds where the new store is now. The building is a steel structure with block infill and external cladding. Internally on the ground floor we have the retail area and then three floors of office space areas above.
What makes this building truly unique and makes it stand out is the curved glass and wall spanning 3 stories at the front of the building and the external paneling covering the rest of the building.
Vodafone Killarney truly is a magnificent piece of architectural work, with its modern appearance fitting nicely into the Killarney landscape.
